Performance Agreement

Performance Types & Duration

SUNDAY - Happy Hour Show (Acoustic Solos) 4p-7p
TUESDAY – Service Industry Night Entertainment (Karaoke, Trivia, etc) 7-11p
WEDNESDAY –
Open Mic Night (Hosts 6:30-10:30p) (pay rate is $150)
Open Mic FEATURED ARTIST (7-8p) (meal on us)
THURSDAY – Ladies Night Entertainment (Dance Instructors, Comedy, etc) 7-10p
DJ Dance Party 10-close
FRIDAY –
Happy Hour Show (Acoustic Solos) 4p-7p
Live Acoustic Groups 7:30-10:30p
DJ Dance Party 10:30p-1:30a
FRIDAY –
Live Acoustic Groups 7:30-10:30p

Venue Facilities and Equipment:
The Venue agrees to provide the stage setup including access to main speaker system and overhead lighting for the performance. Upon scheduling you will be asked to confirm and specify any additional requests for the performance:

Payment Term

Performance Fee:
The Venue agrees to pay the Performer the negotiated rate for the performance. This fee will be paid after the completion of the performance. Any additional expenses incurred by the Performer, such as travel, lodging, meals, or specific equipment will not be provided by the Venue.

Complimentary Benefits:
Performer(s) will receive a discount on any food or beverage purchase of 25% (twenty-five percent) Performer’s orders must be ticketed separately from others in their party to receive this discount.

Scheduling Requirement

The performer(s) agrees not to schedule with venues located in Tarpon Springs or within 5 miles of Tropics 5 days before or after their scheduled performance, without written consent from Tropics. This is to ensure exclusivity and maximize the impact of their performance at Tropics. Any breach of this condition will affect future bookings with the venue.

Conduct and Behavior

Alcohol and Substance Use:
The Performer(s) agree not to be under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substances that would disrupt their ability to maintain professional composure during the performance. The Venue reserves the right to stop the performance if the Performer appears or behaves intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. Any violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of the performance without compensation

Audience Interaction:
The Venue and Performer(s) agree to ensure that non-approved audience members will not access or come onto the stage/booth during the performance or in-between sets. The Venue and Performer both understand the importance of personal safety of all patrons and the safety of equipment. If any audience members attempt to access the stage, the Performer or Venue staff will take appropriate action to prevent such interactions, up to and including removing the patron from the venue. Approved patrons must be identified to management and performers prior to access.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Performance cancellations less than 72 hours in advance of the scheduled date may result in limitations of future bookings. In the event of illness, injury, or accident the performers should notify Tropics management as soon as possible of the intent to cancel, if possible both parties may work to reschedule a future performance date.

Liability Disclosures
Neither party shall be held liable for any failure to perform their obligations under this Agreement in the event of circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or other personal injury or illness. Both parties agree to indemnify and hold harmless each other from all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the performance of this Agreement.
